Seeing a new-to-us region of France from a different vantage point sounded exciting, so Tom, Dagny and my in-laws set off for our Nicols canal boating experience in Alsace. A DIY canal cruise is an amazing experience for anyone who wants to experience France’s canals from the water. Alsace was rural and beautiful.
As we get older and see more and do more, we can’t help but allow these experiences to change us. I like to think it’s all for the best. Here are some life lessons from living abroad that I’ve put together.
