A typical week for us includes a few trips to the park, walks around town running all kinds of errands, a few trips to the mailbox… and a few more trips to the park. My neighborhood here has everything I need and the undeniable French charm shines through in every photo.
Take a walk with me… here’s my neighborhood in the Maine-et-Loire department in France! Go!
Enjoy these pics from in and around my French neighborhood!
Which photo of our French neighborhood is your favorite?

Hi, nice neighborhood 🙂 I live in the south of France, in basque country, you should totally come visit it, or at least search for some pictures on the internet. I live in a small village called Guéthary and the houses and the architecture are so beautiful and cute 🙂 Love your blog!

My favorite picture is Dagny, of course. The alley way with the flowers baskets is a good one as well. The camera takes some nice shots. Definitely gives you a nice feel for the town and its evirons.

Hey now, let’s give the photographer some of the credit ;-)! And yes, Dagny wins every time!

Ah! I’m totally jealous of your awesome looking neighborhood! It’s gorgeous, and, like you said, oozing with decidedly French charm. I love the photos of the apricots and of the yellow post box and the shutter. Beautiful!
Diane says
Thank you, I have a thing for yellow, don’t I? The fruit here really is delicious. Thanks for stopping by!

We lived in Cogolin, near St. Tropez with our English Bulldog and calico cat. Our vet was wonderful. Particularly when our cat got sick and died. They couldn’t have been kinder, taking care of everything needed at no cost. We also loved it when we went into a restaurant, water was brought for our dog before we were asked about our meal. Keep up your treat blog, we loved France and love to read about her even though we don’t live there anymore. Wish we did!!! Diana Weatherill
