Hi guys! Happy lundi to ya!
What’s going on around here? My dad is visiting us/working on our house. Back when we bought our house, it was part of the plan to have my dad come and do some painting, tiling and a few other little repairs to spruce things up. So now’s the time and we’re all elbow deep in paint and have made more trips to Leroy Merlin than I can count.

If anyone is interested in home improvement kind of stuff, let me know and maybe I’ll do a post with some before and after shots. Nothing major is going down but we’re updating our bathroom and doing a few other minor improvements. So happy to have my dad here! When we drove to Paris last week to pick him up, we stopped at the Starbucks on the autoroute and I’ve never been so happy to spend nearly US$7 on a drink. I used to go to Starbucks all the time in the US but since there are none out where I live, it felt like a real treat. 😉
In other news, it’s definitely spring and it feels so good to walk Dagny in the morning with a light jacket and not an umbrella and winter coat. Spring calls for flowers and I never buy them but couldn’t help myself Saturday at the marché. We picked up these beauties and popped ’em in a cafetière.
Some links from around the web:
- I love the show Shark Tank and on a recent episode, Home T was featured. I love the design and selection. Cool, right?
- Ever wonder what fitness trends have come and gone over the years? Here are 100 years in 100 seconds:
- This BuzzFeed piece has me missing NYC!
- Has anyone tried these Reese’s Oreos? They’re totally my style. Any good?
Hope your week is off to a good start and it’s starting to feel like spring in your neck of the woods.

Great Buzzfeed on NYC! I love Oreos and I love Reeses’, but, strangely enough, the idea of Reese’s Oreos is not appealing.
