Hi all, hope your Monday is off to a good start. Can’t believe it’s Aug. 18th already. Wow. Anyway, just wanted to share a few pics of Nantes with you, a post I liked and to let you know an all-new Ask Tom Tuesdays is coming tomorrow…
Read on!
First, I just want to mention that I’ve decided to post here once a week going forward instead of my Monday/Thursday posts. If I have something to say, maybe you’ll see two posts a week. So I hope that works for you. And as always, thanks for being here. 😉
Now onto the good stuff…
Nantes
On Sunday morning, we drive to the bustling city of Nantes for a fun day. Nantes sits on the Loire River and is the sixth largest city in France and the best part? Parking is free on Sunday and there are no tolls on the highway getting there. Sunday also pretty much means everything is closed but with the weather barely hitting 70 (and feeling like October in the mornings lately), I knew spending the day outdoors wouldn’t be a problem. And of course Dagny had on her walking shoes. Here are just a couple of pics: The Angers Nantes Opera House and a snap of the city’s buildings.
A post I liked
Jinna over at Grease & Glamour wrote a beautiful post that resonated with me where she reminds us that sometimes the best things in life are free. She had an eye-opening moment watching the sun rise in Croatia and the line in her post that really stuck with me was, “… Your mind isn’t bothered by thoughts of the past or the future. The world speaks to your soul through your eyes, and it costs you absolutely nothing.”
Ask Tom Tuesdays
And one last thing before I leave you. Stay tuned for an all-new Ask Tom Tuesdays tomorrow! He’s putting the finishing touches on his post now…
