Here are my first impressions of the brand and box:
OK, two things stood out to me about La Box Made In Provence.
1: When I first saw their website, I was immediately impressed. It was well-designed, fit the brand perfectly and you immediately got a feel for what the company was about through the colors, font and overall look of the site. Well done.
2: When I received the box in the mail, the presentation was really nice and came with a business card on the front tied on by twine and decorated with washi tape. So the product mirrored the feel of the website and that’s always a good thing. First impression? A+.
What’s inside? 5 awesome Provence France products:
Upon opening the August box, I was greeted by a fig-themed selection of five Provence France products.
Here’s what the August La Box Made in Provence contained:
- A fig-scented candle
- A fig-grape bar of soap from Le Chatelard 1802
- Fig preserves au muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise from Lou Rigalou
- Bottle of black fig juice from Caromb de La Table des Lutins
- A fig candy from Lilamand
Cost: 29 euros/month plus shipping. There’s no commitment or contract.
High points:
As I said above, the packaging and design is eye-catching and perfectly fits the brand. The quality and selection of products is top notch and you really get a feel for Provence through the products. Great to treat yourself or someone special in your life.
Low point:
For now, La Box Made in Provence is only available to Provence lovers who reside in France. Bummer, I know.
Bottom line: If you’re a lover of Provence, specialty products or are looking for an awesome gift idea, La Box Made in Provence will not disappoint.
