You’ve probably picked up a few summer reads for the beach, but when it comes to blogs, does your regular list need a refresh? Today I’m sharing a list of some of my favorite blogs — that have nothing to do with travel or France.

Chocolate Covered Katie
Can you pass up dessert? NO! And why should you? On Chocolate Covered Katie, you’ll find tons of healthy desserts that you won’t be able to resist. The mouthwatering pictures alone are enough to make you fall in love with this dessert blog that won’t have you feeling guilty about indulging. One of my favorite recipes? This chocolate bar pie. You can’t even taste the soy — promise!
Ask A Manager
Alison Green is the blogger behind this addictive Q&A site that tackles all your corporate conundrums. Just write to Alison and you might find your question answered on Ask A Manager. As a former manager herself, Alison has all the answers and shares her advice on some very interesting reader questions that deal with all things work-related. One of the best parts of the site is its community of commenters who offer amazing advice and insight as well.
The Middle Finger Project
Looking for a sassy voice to help you kick start your business? Or just inspire you to DO SOMETHING? Ash Ambirge is a copywriter who writes a killer blog called The Middle Finger Project that is sure to get you from wherever you are now to wherever you want to be. Her foul-mouthed style just works and it’s hard NOT to subscribe to her newsletter.
Young House Love
Sherry and John started their blog to keep family abreast of a home renovation and now Young House Love has become a DIY empire! Originally from the corporate world, Sherry and Jon are just your normal married couple from Virginia with a little girl and a dog who show you how to finish that house project you’ve been putting off — one step at a time. They even wrote a DIY book! Their blog is easy to love and relate to and will inspire you to change a few things in your home for the better!
