Best Peloton accessories (plus my towel pick!)
One of the best Peloton accessories you can buy is a Peloton towel that keeps your handlebars free of sweat and in tip-top shape so you can focus on your workout. Here are my picks for what your Peloton experience needs to be complete -- including some Peloton accessories you didn't know you needed as well as the top Peloton sweat towel out here.
Let's kick off my list with exactly what you came for -- THE spin bike towel. Available in a variety of colors for both the Peloton Bike and Bike+, Drip Accessory makes the most popular Peloton towel out there. It's machine washable and made with soft, super absorbent terry cloth that not only keeps your hands put on extra sweaty rides but also protects your flywheel and brake from the damaging effects of sweat. Keep in mind that Drip also makes a towel that fits Schwinn and Stages bikes. This is the Peloton handlbar towel every rider needs for a safe and dry ride.
Are the handlebars too far away and you need them to be a little closer? Well, this is what you need! Another must-have Peloton accessory is the ComfortGrip Handlebar Extender. The Peloton bike's handlebars don't move forward or back to ensure a perfect fit for those of us on the shorter side, making it a bit uncomfortable to have to reach for the handlebars. With the ComfortGrip, you'll have improved posture, a comfortable grip, and reduced arm tension because it brings the handlebars 2 inches closer! Get 10% OFF w/code OUIINFRANCE at checkout.
No matter what brand of spin bike you're on, this spin bike towel from Drip Accessory attaches to your handlebars and stays put all ride long due to the elastic loop underneath. It's super absorbent, machine washable and has a cool mitt portion for you to quickly get rid of sweat without dropping the towel. This is a great alternative to the Peloton handlebar towel above that completely covers the handlebars. Opt for one of these cool Peloton sweat towels instead and get 10% off w/code OUIINFRANCE.
Hate feeling the sweat drip down your face? Keep reading... Keep cool with this inconspicuous fan that features three speeds and a 90-degree pivoting head. It will improve airflow in your space without being an eyesore. No one wants to be uncomfortably hot, so a quiet fan like this one is a must, especially in the warmer months.
It's easy to head straight to the shower after working out, but don't forget this very important part of any workout routine that your body will learn to crave. Foam roll your tired muscles with this TriggerPoint GRID foam roller and make it hurt so good. Use it on tight muscles, knots and kinks to reduce soreness and improve mobility. Regular foam rolling will improve your flexibility, balance and mobility over time. This is one of the Peloton accessories that hurts so good but is worth the momentary discomfort for the benefits you get in return.
For a pair of high-end leggings that feel as good as they look, here's my pick. Part of getting a good workout in is looking the part, so the Takara line of leggings from Carbon38 will do the trick. Many of the Peloton instructors wear the brand and for good reason. Available in a variety of colors and two lengths and rises, these Takara leggings are a must have. Thin yet breathable. Light compression and SO much shine!
With both 22" and 32" sizes compatible with the Peloton Bike, Tread and many other models, your screen will be protected with this sleek cover that is made of a soft, stretchy, poly blend scuba material. It's a must for those of us who keep our equipment in a high-traffic area where the screen is prone to getting bumped or scratched. Ditto for sunny areas that attract a lot of dust.
Next on my list of the best Peloton accessories is this floor protector mat. Keep your floor and/or mat free of sweat with this extra absorbent cotton terry cloth mat that goes on the floor around your bike. Even if you have a rubber mat, they're not always easy to clean and sweat can still drip onto the base of your bike, not to mention mats can get a musty smell over time. Avoid floor puddles entirely with this must-have Peloton floormat towel. When the ride is over, just pop it in the wash!
Don't forget a water bottle! I have the bottle pictured here from the Italian brand 24 Bottles and love it. They're made of stainless steel, reusable, leak proof and plastic free. The best part about these insulated bottles is they're sweat-free so your hands won't have any extra sweat to deal with when you reach for a drink. Be sure to buy the separate sports lid so it's easy to grab a sip whenever you need one.
On days when multitasking is the only way to get a workout in, go for this spintray that fits over the handlebars of your Peloton bike. This made in the USA Peloton accessory lets you work, read, and sip your coffee while exercising and is one of those Peloton accessories that will be a fast favorite of the most hardcore multitaskers out there.
Whether you get a light pair of these anti-slip hand weights for the arms section of class or go with a heavier pair for strength classes, neoprene is my top choice because the texture helps you to grip the weights and not slip when things heat up. Made with a high-quality cast iron core, these weights also won't roll away on you due to their hex shape that makes them easy to store.
When your workout is over, don't chuck your wet clothes in the hamper where they'll stay until laundry day. Wash them right away with this eco-friendly detergent specially formatted for activewear guaranteed to get the stink out of your sweatiest pieces. It's perfect for high-tech brands like Adidas, Alo Yoga, Fabletics, Gymshark, Lululemon, Athleta, Carbon38, and more.
Not all heart rate monitors are compatible with the bike, but the Scoshe one here certainly is and is a community favorite for a reason. Use it for heart rate-based workouts like Powerzone or whenever you want to keep an eye on your metrics for a more tuned-in workout. The best part is that it uses an arm band instead of an uncomfortable chest strap and comes in a variety of color options.

I used to rent a Peloton bike in the US. We recently moved to France, and as far as I have been able to find out, Peloton is not available here. I was curious, how did you end up getting one here? Did you import it? Is there any way to rent one here rather than buy?
Diane says
Hi, Peloton isn’t established in France so you’d have to import from either the UK or Germany.
