If you read Goop or are in-the-know when it comes to all things beauty, you’ve probably heard about the French anti-aging cream Avibon that can be found in French pharmacies. Want to turn back the clock?
What is Avibon?
Avibon is a vitamin A cream that’s been touted as the best thing ever by women all over the globe. Vaseline-like in consistency, Avibon is said to reduce wrinkles and even help with stretch marks.
A Michigan study that appeared in the May issue of the journal Archives of Dermatology says this about Avibon: “Wrinkles, roughness and overall aging severity were all significantly reduced in the treated area compared with the control area treated with regular lotion.”
Celebs have jumped on the Avibon bandwagon, too. Gwyneth Paltrow spoke to the French skin care cream’s effectiveness on her website:
“I know an older movie star who uses this every night and she has the most amazing skin.”
Style.com wrote, “…a must-purchase while in Paris…for keeping wrinkles at bay.”
Australia VOGUE also is getting in on the fun and wrote, “Pumped full of skin-clearing and wrinkle-blitzing Vitamin A, this anti-ageing cream is a secret weapon of stylists, editors and movie stars.”
