I’ve been on a rosé kick lately and these 3 French rosé wine bottles from Provence are ones you need to know about. They’re all available in the USA and are delicious.
3 Best summer rosé wines from France
First, can we talk about the beautiful bottles? I don’t know about you, but first impressions count for a lot and that includes wine. When I like how something looks right off the bat, the whole experience starts off on the right foot.
Are these some of the prettiest French rosé wine bottles you’ve ever seen? The shape, the color, just wow. They’re gorgeous and would be perfect hostess gifts or as a way to elevate the next shindig chez vous.
But let’s talk about the wine. If you’re looking for a few sips of Provence, then you’ve come to the right place. All 3 of these best French rosé wine picks are from the AOP Côtes de Provence appellation and are on the drier side, so nothing sickly sweet or syrupy here.
In all honesty, before moving to France, I didn’t care for rosé wines at all. All the ones I’d tried were too sweet for me so I never drank rosé unless I was a guest in someone’s home. But then everything changed once I discovered how diverse and complex rosé wines could be. They’re not all bright pink and sweet. Far from it. Dry rosés are some of my favorites, especially during the summer, and they can be incredible on their own or with a well-structured meal.
Let’s talk about these 3 tasty best summer rosé wine options from Provence perfect for summer:
1. Inspiration Cotes de Provence
Color: A light translucent salmon with some yellow gold hues.
Nose: Delicate notes of cherry, cranberry and pomegranate.
Taste: This is a dry rosé wine that has weight and structure on the palate. It is balanced by a freshness and tart red fruit notes like fresh strawberry.
Terroir: From the brand’s website, “The Plateau (altitude 330 m), characterized by an impoverished, stony soil. This zone is reserved for the finest vintages, as its yield is limited. Le Château (altitude 250 m), characterized by a very different type of soil, with much larger proportions of sand, a generally finer texture and less stones, producing zesty rosés. Its shallow, well-drained soil is ideal for the vines. This mainly chalky terroir, perfect for growing numerous grape varieties, lends the wines their refreshing, mineral taste.”
Grapes: Grenache (70%) Cinsault (20%) Syrah (10%)

2. Emotion
Color: The perfect light Provence pink. When you think about what a Provence rosé looks like, this is it.
Nose: A very fragrant wine with aromas of raspberry, candied strawberries, red cherry and white flowers. A hint of sea breeze minerality.
Taste: Balanced with a freshness and roundness found in the Grenache. The minerality carries through to the palate. Refreshing flavors of pink grapefruit and watermelon.
Terroir: Same as above
Grapes: Grenache Noir (50%) Cinsault (25%) Syrah (25%)

3. Urban Provence (UP)
Color: A bright pink rosé with hints of rose gold.
Nose: Fresh and juicy aromas of wild strawberry, white blossoms and raspberry with hints of white pepper from the Syrah grape.
Taste: Well-structured, this dry rosé offers tart cherry and floral notes with minerality and some spice on the finish.
Terroir: From the brand’s website, “Set in wild countryside and bordered by a vast evergreen oak forest, the vineyard has shallow soil, laid on a waterproof subsoil sandstone slab. This excellent terroir is nourished with a natural compost of oak leaves and vine stalks.”
Grapes: Grenache Noir (45%) Cinsault (35%) Syrah (15%) Rolle (5%)

Hello!
Fench wine is my one of the best brand and French wine is also famous in producing wine. France produced 50 and 60 million hectolitres per year, or 7–8 billion bottles. I like its grapes wine in red color.
